Station Run Time per cycle for… There is a range of potential run times due to the varied amount of water applied by sprinkler heads. Varying irrigation water pressure, spacing of the sprinkler heads, and sprinkler type causes the difference in amount of water applied. The bolded number represents the manufacturers estimated application rate. The range represents CCWD’s findings as a result of doing residential landscape surveys beginning in 1990. The lowest number represents a higher amount of water being applied to the area and the highest number represents a lower amount of water being applied to the area.
