Description

Malus 'Arnoldiana' is a deciduous tree. It does best in full sun and may reach 20' tall and 25' wide. Flowers have red buds that open to single pink flowers that fade to white and are fragrant during spring. This tree also works as a shrub as it has a mounding habit that is densely branching. Foliage is dark green and often lobed. It does best in acidic soil and regular watering. Yellow green or yellow red small fruit appear in fall. This tree produces heavily every other year. Prone to aphids and scab.

Water Saving Tip:

Mulching and adding compost to soil can minimize evaporation and help soil absorb and store water.
