Verbena lilacina 'De La Mina' is a selection introduced by the Santa Barbara Botanical Garden. It follows the same wonderful characteristics described under the general species V. lilacina.

This deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub will grow to 10' x 15' and produces pink, lilac, blue, purple, and white blooms. It attracts butterflies and does well in full sun or light shade.

Botanical name:Digitalis purpurea
This biennial foxglove will reach up to 4' when blooming in the early summer. The large spire of huge, bell-shaped flowers ranges from purple to pink to cream with purple specks. Large, textured leaves form an attractive rosette until bloom time.

Maintain a two to four inch layer of mulch on the soil surface to reduce weeds, infiltrate rain water, and reduce compaction.
