This plant is a open and spreading evergreen shrub 10-20 ft. in height with many yellow flowers blooming in spring. It needs good drainage and little summer water. It is a native plant to California as the name suggests and it is drought tolerant.

This hardy perennial is a useful, old-time garden plant with coarse, woolly gray/green, wrinkled leaves and yellow, 1" flowers in ball-shaped whorls. It handles drought and poor soils but needs full sun.

This shrub will grow 6-12' tall and has small, dark green leaves with white flowers that bloom in the spring. Red berries are in season during the fall.

The passion fruit vine that is famous for producing the, "passion fruit". An purplish egg-shaped fruit with a leathery hide that reveals inside, a pudding like mass, with edible seeds. Can be scooped-out or sucked-out of the halved fruit. Often invasive.
