This shrubby perennial has oval leaves that are 1" in length and dark green in color. It produces a variety of bright blue 1 1/4" wide flowers almost continuously, those of which resemble daisies.

This perennial will grow 1' tall and 1.5' wide. It has blue/green foliage and lavender flowers that bloom in spring and summer.

The border pestemon is a showy perennial that remains 2-4 ft. high It has reddish pink tubular blossoms on long flower spikes from spring through the fall and is hardy to 15 degrees F. It is also drought tolerant, and attracks hummingbirds and butterflies.
